There is a certain point in the game where Snes9x cr*ps itself and freezes. So... i copied the SRAM files and ran the game in ZSNES, passed the point that breaks the other emulator. Copied the SRAM files back and continued to finish the game. Mind you, i was using an amd64 Linux distribution (Xubuntu) which means i686 packages such as ZSNES were not available by default. Had to jump through a few hoops, play with IA32libs etc. also the first run of zsnes required -ao none or something or it would break entirely lol
PS. Dragon View (aka Drakkhen 2 / Super Drakkhen) is a real hidden gem too. Especially when the original Drakkhen was hot garbage lol *
