About Chests: All chests except gold ones can drop a mythic. Event chest ones are the current week's mythics only. Also important is the amount of keys you use at once. I recommend using the max amount (200) at once... With some keys you reach this faster than others. With Guild Seals you have to wait for your guild to hit 40000/40000 seals (max per player is 2000) because that will remove cr*ppier tiers from the drop table. *

Glory and Glory Troops: Hold on to your glory and pick a new troop after the weekly reset. *

Where to actually use your gems: Hold on to them too. Use them to buy event tiers in various events. If you are really conservative then only buy tier 1 that gives Enchant to your troops. There are events where tier 3 or 4 give a weapon. Make sure you actually want/need them. *
